Von Ugo is a multidisciplinary creative studio and cultural institution dedicated to the study and appreciation of the arts and design. Founded in 2025 by Kaya Ugorji, the studio aims to highlight the importance of the visual and performing arts by producing innovative and thoughtful creative projects, while fostering community engagement through shared research, curated showcases and exhibitions, and philanthropic practices. This is done through media production by the creative studio, a public digital archive consisting of academic research and writings, and an annual release of Von Ugo Collections. Each Collection consists of a collectible art book curated by Ugorji, with an accompanying exhibition and/or showcase presenting a specific research topic. These Collections spark a cultural movement, platforming artists on a grand scale while sparking a larger conversation on the importance of the arts in academia. Von Ugo Collections serve as a non-profit event for Von Ugo, with proceeds going towards facilitating more projects and research within the studio, as well as collaborative exhibitions and showcases at partnering museums and universities. We at Von Ugo would eventually like to partner with museums, universities, and other academic organizations to provide scholarships and grants for those pursuing professional careers in the arts.
